The incident led to the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, authorities reported.

A toddler was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and not being treated as terrorism – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
